Gua Sha
Traditional Chinese face and body massage, which has been known since ancient times.
Gua Sha can be translated as "to scrape away all the bad".
Gua - scraping, picking, removing;
Sha - disease, something bad.
The massage is performed with a special "scraper" that engages not only the upper layers of the skin, but also the muscles.
During Gua Sha massage, the masseur scratches the skin with short or long strokes. This increases blood flow to the area and rejuvenates the skin. The massage therefore has an immediately noticeable rejuvenating result, which becomes even more visible over time. These strokes are performed using a smooth-edged tool, the Gua Sha stone.
The massage is slightly more relaxing than a massage with vacuum flasks and is more on the surface.
